General introduction (skip is ok)

Gusto – a deck that has just been buffed in the new deck build box – although the build box mainly focuses on Assault Mode, Gusto also benefits quite a bit.
Actually, I didn't like Gusto much before, but now I find it fun to play. However, don't confuse 'fun' with 'strong'! However, it has improved a lot and is now a Tier 3 deck and can definitely climb KOG.
That being said, this is a deck that focuses on summoning a bunch of WIND monsters, and the interesting thing is that it's like a Speedroid combined with a Shoppee-bought Lyrilusc . The reason is simple. On turn one, all we'll be summoning will be WIND monsters of the archetype to reach cards like Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and do a little bit like Speedroid , leave a level 10 monster, put two cards face down, have a Monster
And on turn two, we can summon Daigusto Sphreez . This card has the effect that any battle damage you would have taken will be reflected back to your opponent. In other words, you don't take damage, but your opponent does. So just summon this girl, bring a Gusto monster, attack and win the match as if we were a version of Lyrilusc .
But yeah, the reason I said this is the Shopee version of Speedroid and Lyrilusc is because we do something similar to those decks, but not exactly the same. Obviously, our Daigusto Sphreez won't be untargetable or indestructible by effects. This card can be undestroyed by battle and can also become untargetable if you have another Synchro card like Winda, Priestess of Gusto . But those are already extra steps compared to what other decks can do. Meanwhile, on the Speedroid side, we don't have a skill that allows us to summon Synchro for free, and that's where you realize that this deck has some obvious weaknesses. So this deck is recommended if you don't have Speedroid yet, especially since compared to Lyrilusc , we at least have some very good advantages, but you should know this from the start.
Skill
Ancestral Arts of Gusto (Skill Card) (100%)

Ancestral Arts of Gusto (Skill Card)
ATK:
0
DEF:
0
You can only use this Skill's second and third effects once per Duel. 1: At the beginning of the Duel, add 3 "Gusto" monsters with different names to your Extra Deck. During all of your turns, you cannot Normal or Special Summon (excluding Special Summons from the Extra Deck) any monsters, except "Gusto" monsters and WIND Tuners. 2: Reveal 1 "Gusto" monster in your hand and send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard, then add up to 2 "Gusto" cards and/or WIND Tuners from your Deck to your hand. 3: If you control "Daigusto Sphreez" or your opponent has activated an effect this turn, play 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck in face-down Defense Position. (Its battle position can be changed.)
This ability, while powerful, is balanced to a moderate level. At the beginning of the game, you will add three cards to your Extra Deck. These three cards will support you quite well, especially the level 5 Synchro card – it can shuffle 2 Gusto monsters from the grave back to the deck, and choose to destroy 1 face-up monster of your opponent – is very good.
Level 7 card, each turn, in End Phase, it can banish 1 WIND monster from the grave to destroy 1 face-down monster of the opponent - but because it is the end of the turn, it is a bit slow. Finally, Falco - when summoned, all monsters in the archetype will be added 600 ATK - simple but level 4 so it is very easy to summon.
Additionally, the skill has two effects that activate once per match.
Effect 1: You reveal 1 Gusto monster in your hand and send any card from your hand to the graveyard, then add 2 Gusto or WIND Tuner cards from your deck to your hand. You still win, because the card sent to the graveyard can be used later, and you draw 2 more cards – like 2.5 cards.
Effect 2: It can also find a WIND Tuner outside the archetype – for example, Chiron – a card used to negate the effect. If you already have enough combos in hand, instead of finding Gusto, you can find Chiron to use negate on the next turn.
Effect 3: If you control Daigusto Sphreez (Synchro), or your opponent has just activated an effect (such as handtrap), you can summon a face-down Gusto monster from your deck to defend. This is extremely suitable for a deck card – when flipped face-up, it will special summon a WIND Tuner Gusto from your deck – this is the most powerful card to use with the skill.
You can also call other cards – for example, a card that shuffles 2 monsters from the grave back into the deck and draws 1 card – which is also quite good. These are usually the 2 main options that you should prioritize.
The monsters
Pilica Descendant of Gusto (x2-3)

Pilica, Descendant of Gusto
ATK:
1000
DEF:
1500
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 WIND Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. Its effects are negated. If you activated this effect, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. You can only use this effect of "Pilica, Descendant of Gusto" once per turn.
This card, when Normal or Special Summoned: Summons a Gusto monster from the Graveyard, and you are limited to only summoning Gusto . There's not much to say about this card.
Gusto Vedir (x3)

Gusto Vedir
ATK:
600
DEF:
1000
If a face-up "Gusto" monster on the field is destroyed by battle or sent to your GY: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck to the GY, then, you can Special Summon 1 "Gusto" monster from your hand. You can only use each effect of "Gusto Vedir" once per turn.
Gusto Egul (x1)
Gusto Gulldo (x0-3)
This card is interesting because if you get Dragonmaid it will activate an effect when sent from the field to the graveyard: it can summon a level 2 or lower Gusto monster from the deck.
But be careful, it's a "when" effect, so there might be a miss timing trigger if you use it as a Synchro material, it won't trigger the effect so be careful.
Gusto Squirro and Gusto Falco (x1 - Remaining Tuners)
Tuner monsters . They all have effects but honestly, it will rarely be used.
They are basically only here because they are Tuner and are needed to perform your combos.
Kamui Hope of Gusto (x2)
Gusto Griffin (x3)
Griffin , when sent from the hand to the graveyard, summons 1 gusto from the deck, which is great when combined with the equipped Spell card, which we'll talk about later.
Caam Serenity of Gusto (x1)
Caam will give you one of the best fields this deck can set up.
It also helps you when you draw cards you want to see in your opening hand, as it can shuffle them back into the deck and help you expand even if you get bricked.
And remember, this isn't a one-time-per-turn effect. You can actually summon this card multiple times in one turn to draw multiple cards, and this happens quite a bit in matches.
Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill (x1-2)

Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill
ATK:
0
DEF:
1800
If your opponent Special Summons a monster(s) face-up (except during the Damage Step): You can discard this card, then target 1 of those face-up monsters; negate its effects until the end of this turn, also if that face-up monster leaves the field this turn, its controller takes damage equal to its original ATK. You can only use this effect of "Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill" once per turn.
This card has a lot of synergies with the deck. First of all, it is a WIND Tuner. Therefore, it can be summoned with Pilicia . It is also a searchable card with Crystal Clear Wing .
Musto Oracle of Gusto (x0-1)
1 Gusto level 4 with negate effect is quite old-fashioned but sometimes used to bait the enemy to use disruption is quite OK. You can optionally put this card in or not
Spell/Trap
Tailwind of Gusto (x3)

Tailwind of Gusto
Equip only to a "Gusto" monster. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. You can only use each of the following effects of "Tailwind of Gusto" once per turn. You can banish this card from your GY and discard 1 WIND monster; add 1 "Gusto" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can activate this effect based on the Level/Rank of the equipped monster; ● 4 or lower: Special Summon 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck with a different Type than the equipped monster. ● 5 or higher: Special Summon 1 Level 1 Tuner from your Deck.
An equipped Spell card makes the equipped monster invulnerable to your opponent's effects, and depending on the equipped monster, it has two effects.
If it is a Level 4 or lower monster, you can Summon a Gusto monster from your Deck that has a different type than the equipped monster. And if it is a Level 5 or higher monster, you can Summon a Level 1 Tuner from your Deck.
The cool thing about this card is that if it's in the Graveyard, you can banish it, discard a WIND monster, and add a Spell or Trap card of that archetype to your hand. Potentially, you can search it if you discard it from your hand as a cost to activate the effect of Gusto Griffin .
Book of Eclipse (x2-3)

Book of Eclipse
Change all face-up monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position. During the End Phase of this turn, change as many face-down Defense Position monsters your opponent controls as possible to face-up Defense Position, then your opponent draws cards equal to the number of monsters changed face-up by this effect.
Blessings for Gusto (x1)
Select two Gustos from the graveyard plus a third Gusto , shuffle the first two back into the deck, then summon the third. Since you'll often leave a lot of things in the graveyard when you extend your combo, you can revive them with Blessings for Gusto .
Speedroid Dupligate (x1-2)

Speedroid Dupligate
Banish 1 WIND monster from your GY, then target 1 card your opponent controls; return it to the hand. During your Main Phase, if this card is in your GY: You can target 1 Level 2 or higher "Speedroid" monster you control; reduce its Level by 1, and if you do, Special Summon this card as a Normal Monster (Machine/Tuner/WIND/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). (This card is NOT treated as a Trap.) You can only use this effect of "Speedroid Dupligate" once per Duel.
Two Speedroid Trap cards because if you draw one, at least you have another to search for with Cork Pistol . If you want, you can play one, depending on your preference.
Contact with Gusto (x0-1)
Popular Tech cards are hot meta

Blizzard
Target 1 face-up Spell your opponent controls; this turn, negate the activated effects of that Spell and all Spells on the field with that same original name. If the targeted card would be sent to the opponent's GY this turn, it is added to their hand instead. You can only activate 1 "Blizzard" per turn.

Nibiru, the Primal Being
ATK:
3000
DEF:
600
During the Main Phase, if your opponent Normal or Special Summoned 5 or more monsters this turn (Quick Effect): You can Tribute as many face-up monsters on the field as possible, and if you do, Special Summon this card from your hand, then Special Summon 1 "Primal Being Token" (Rock/LIGHT/Level 11/ATK ?/DEF ?) to your opponent's field. (This Token's ATK/DEF become the combined original ATK/DEF of the Tributed monsters.) You can only use this effect of "Nibiru, the Primal Being" once per turn.

Forbidden Droplet
Send any number of other cards from your hand and/or field to the GY; choose that many Effect Monsters your opponent controls, and until the end of this turn, their ATK is halved, also their effects are negated. In response to this card's activation, your opponent cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with the same original type (Monster/Spell/Trap) as the cards sent to the GY to activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Forbidden Droplet" per turn.
You can also add in whatever you have.
Extra Deck
Daigusto Sphreez (x2)

Daigusto Sphreez
ATK:
2000
DEF:
1300
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 "Gusto" card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. Your opponent takes any Battle Damage you would have taken from battles involving a face-up "Gusto" monster you control. This card cannot be destroyed by battle.
When this card is Synchro Summoned, it adds a Gusto card from the graveyard back to your hand. But remember that this only happens when Synchro Summoning, not Special Summoning. ( Example: You can summon this card back with a Trap card ).
Then, the most important effect of the card, Reflects any damage dealt to Gusto that is face up on your field back to your opponent. This card also cannot be destroyed by battle. This is important because you can place this card on the field and then activate its ability to put a Flip monster on the field. Then, summon another Gusto from your deck, all with a base attack of zero.
This card itself only has 2000 ATK. So you can attack with all these monsters on your opponent's monsters and deal billions of damage to them. Also remember that this card, when battled, summons another Gusto from the deck. So it's a card that can do a lot of damage. If your opponent doesn't respect it, this card will kill your opponent by itself after summoning a bunch of things to the field with your skill. It's also a requirement to activate the skill on your first turn because when it's on the field, you can use the skill to summon Kamui
The remaining Gusto Synchro

Daigusto Laplampilica
ATK:
1900
DEF:
2600
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters You can only Special Summon "Daigusto Laplampilica" once per turn. If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Gusto" monster from your hand and 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck, but negate their effects, then immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 "Gusto" Synchro Monster using only those 2 monsters, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. Your opponent cannot target other "Gusto" Synchro Monsters you control with card effects.
Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon (x1)

Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon
ATK:
3000
DEF:
2500
1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 1 non-Tuner "Clear Wing" monster Once per turn, when your opponent activates a monster effect (except during the Damage Step) (Quick Effect): You can activate this effect; until the end of this turn, this face-up card is unaffected by the activated effects of your opponent's monsters, also this card gains ATK equal to that opponent's monster's original ATK. Once per turn, when a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. If this Synchro Summoned card you control is sent to your GY by an opponent's card: You can add 1 WIND monster from your Deck to your hand.
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon is something you can summon and is pretty good against meta stuff
Stellar Wind Wolfrayet (x1)

Stellar Wind Wolfrayet
ATK:
2500
DEF:
0
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters You can only control 1 "Stellar Wind Wolfrayet". Gains 300 ATK each time another monster's effect is activated, while the ATK of this card is less than 4000. Once per turn, if this card's ATK is 4000 or higher (Quick Effect): You can shuffle both this card and all monsters your opponent controls into the Deck.
Wolfrayet to return the card. Depending on the hand, your end board can change. Obviously with something like Level Eater , you'll want to leave just one monster to avoid getting eaten by Lava Golem . And this card is one of those very good options.
Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon (x1)

Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon
ATK:
3000
DEF:
2500
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner Synchro Monsters Once per turn, when another monster's effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster, and if you do that, this card gains ATK equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK until the end of this turn. If this card battles an opponent's Level 5 or higher monster, during damage calculation: This card gains ATK equal to the current ATK of the opponent's monster it is battling during that damage calculation only.
Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon to negate. If you want, you can also bring Emergency Teleport.
Speed-roid

Hi-Speedroid Clear Wing Rider
ATK:

DEF:
2000
1 WIND Tuner + 1 non-Tuner WIND Synchro Monster Once per turn, during your Main Phase: You can roll a six-sided die and shuffle WIND monsters from your GY into your Deck, up to the result, then, you can destroy cards your opponent controls up to the number shuffled, and if you do, this card gains 500 ATK for each card destroyed by this effect, until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Clear Wing Fast Dragon" once per turn. If this card in the Monster Zone is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can place this card in your Pendulum Zone.

Clear Wing Synchro Dragon

DEF:
2000
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, when another Level 5 or higher monster activates its effect on the field (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. Once per turn, when a monster effect is activated that targets 1 Level 5 or higher monster on the field (and no other cards) (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. If this card's effect destroys a monster, this card gains ATK equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK until the end of this turn.

Hi-Speedroid Cork Shooter
ATK:
500
DEF:
1000
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can activate 1 of these effects; ● Add 1 "Speedroid" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. ● If all materials that were used for the Synchro Summon of this card were "Speedroid" monsters, and are all in your GY, Special Summon all of them. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect, except WIND monsters. You can only use this effect of "Hi-Speedroid Cork Shooter" once per turn.
Speedroid for some situations
Mist Wurm (x0-1)
Mist Wurm is very easy to summon, just summon a 6-star card, activate the ability, bring Caam, Serenity of Gusto and flip it, add a level 1 Tuner, you have 6 + 2 + 1. You can be limited to WIND by Speedroid Cork Shooter for the rest of the turn, but since everything is WIND, it's all fine.

You can only use each effect of "Gusto Vedir" once per turn.
Conclusion
Weaknesses of the deck
This is an old style Synchro deck, meaning Tuner and Non-Tuner, which means we are much more prone to disruption than other decks in the meta. Since our abilities don't help clear the field, if you summon a monster and get hit by Book , you're done, there's not much you can do, since we don't have Skill hacks like other current decks, which can clear the field to continue playing, like in the case of Speedroid , like in the case of Resonator ,...
And secondly, Daigusto Sphreez has to be face up to reflect damage. So what happens is if they remove it for whatever reason, that's it, nothing more.
In other words, as long as you get Daigusto Sphreez out quickly, you shouldn't have too much trouble against this deck. Likewise, if you can stop it, Gusto 's worthless. This makes it dangerous but not very impressive on turn two. When it comes to early play, I personally think that's where this deck can shine the most, so keep an eye out for that toss.
